BUMP TO BABY

So many people feel that it’s not important to document pregnancy, but having photographs of you while you are carrying your little one can be just as important as the pictures of your baby when they’re born. Both sets of pictures will become more and more special to you as time goes by.


With our bump to baby package, you will come to our studio for your maternity photoshoot at around 34 to 38 weeks pregnant (or when you’re most comfortable) to document your baby bump. You will then come in for your second session, the newborn session, ideally before your baby is two weeks old – this is when they’re really little – after two weeks they start to grow a lot more!

You are more than welcome to bring your family along to both sessions, whether that’s your partner, your children, and/or your pets. Having your loved ones come along to the photoshoot can make for some great pictures.

A deposit of £60 is required to secure your booking. The deposit is deducted from the total cost of the package and the balance is due on the day of your session. There are no hidden costs, just choose the package that suits you.

Please note that prints included in packages are copies of the digital files the client chose with their package - prints are not additional pictures.

After your Photo Session....


My Clients get access to their proofing online gallery within 7 working days after session. I do not offer In Person Sale sessions - you can view and choose your images in the comfort of your own home. From this gallery you choose your pictures that you would like to buy with your package. All selected pictures are hand edited in the style presented in my portfolio. Edits are usually ready within 3 weeks after final selection. Once digital pictures are delivered to the Client they can not be exchanged/replaced or returned. Prints are posted within 2 months after edited version is sent to the Client.

FAQ

When is the best time for a maternity photography session?

Maternity sessions are best done between 30 – 35 weeks. At that time you show very nicely, but it is still well before reaching a point when you might start being more uncomfortable.

Is there any advantage for me if I book newborn and maternity sessions together?

Yes! With the maternity/newborn combo you receive 10% off the original price for both of the sessions!

Where will our session take place?

It's either outdoors or my studio in Bletchley, Milton Keynes

What time of the day do you shoot?

For studio shoots I usually do mornings somewhere between 10am-2pm however for outdoors my preferred time to photograph is in the late afternoon/early evening as this is when you get the lovely light you often see in my images. The exact times vary, of course, depending on the season.

How should I prepare for my maternity session? Will you help?

Absolutely! As your maternity photographer I am here for you each step of the way so you can relax and enjoy the process. Planning is actually where the fun begins! I have put together a written Session Guide which you will receive upon your booking. This guide will give you a great session overview and will help you best prepare for your pregnancy session.

How long will it take to see my photos after the session?

You will receive a preview gallery with RAW photos about 3/4 days after you shoot. You take your time to choose your favourites that you want me to edit. After you make your selection is takes up to 20 working days for me to edit.
Waiting time for prints is longer - up to 2 months.

How do I receive my order/prints?

When your prints are ready to be collected I will let you know! For long distance clients I usually arrange postage.

How long after the session do you keep my images?

Unordered images will be purged 20 days after your session. Ordered images will be archived in my system for 6 months.
